• Holder of a Higher School Certificate with science related subject(s);
• A degree in Food Science or any other related field will be an advantage;

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential;

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare subsamples of wheat and by-products from silo and mill;
• Preparation of solutions and standardization;
• Test baking of flour samples and evaluation of baked products;
• Prepare analytical sheets and other data;
• Contributing to housekeeping and hygiene of laboratory;
• Stock taking and inventory of laboratory equipment and chemicals;
• Filling of controlled documents;
• Comply to Laboratory Management System;

Profile

• Holder of a Degree in Quality/Environment/ Sustainability or Chemical Engineering with at least 1year experience in Food Industry.
• Diploma or Certificate in Food Safety/Health & Safety will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Environment Protection Act, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and good analytical skills with a pro-active, can-do and positive attitude
• Meticulous and organized approach;
• Self motivated and able to deal with priorities;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential;

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the internal and external audits, prepare corrective action plans and ensure corrective actions are taken thereafter.
• Carry out risk assessment/hazard analysis and act as Technical Secretary in management systems meetings.
• Conduct gap analysis to ensure legal compliance;
• Perform quality control checks on raw materials, intermediate products and finished products.
• Assist in supervision of site maintenance team.
• Attend meetings with management concerning issues related to food safety, quality, environment, health and safety.
• Carry out on site inspections and deal with resolving complaints and non-conformances.
• Provide on the job training, refresher training to employees on food safety, quality, environment and health and safety;
