Profile
- Holder of a Degree in Quality/Environment/ Sustainability or Chemical Engineering with at least 1year experience in Food Industry.
- Diploma or Certificate in Food Safety/Health & Safety will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Environment Protection Act, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and good analytical skills with a pro-active, can-do and positive attitude
- Meticulous and organized approach.
- Self motivated and able to deal with priorities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the “Quality Manager” in the management and implementation of the 5 management systems in place (HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 45001).
- Assist in the internal and external audits, prepare corrective action plans and ensure corrective actions are taken thereafter.
- Carry out risk assessment/hazard analysis and act as Technical Secretary in management systems meetings.
- Conduct gap analysis to ensure legal compliance.
- Perform quality control checks on raw materials, intermediate products and finished products.
- Assist in supervision of site maintenance team.
- Attend meetings with management concerning issues related to food safety, quality, environment, health and safety.
- Carry out on site inspections and deal with resolving complaints and non-conformances.
- Provide on the job training, refresher training to employees on food safety, quality, environment and health and safety.
