Wheat bran is an important co-product of the transformation of wheat into flour. Derived from refining, it is composed of dietary fibres and contains numerous nutritional elements, vitamins, and minerals. Fresh bran is integrated into feed, essential for the local livestock sector, or used as is.

In an ongoing effort to contribute to national food security, LMLC has entered into an agreement with the French group Soufflet and the Office National Interprofessionnel des Grandes Cultures (ONIGC) to guarantee the supply of 130,000 tons of wheat in the event of a global shortage.
