Fruit Cake
Ingredients
- 500g Blédor Self-Raising
 - 5g Salt
 - 350g Sugar
 - 400g Butter
 - 8 Whole eggs
 - 100g Dried Fruit
 - 5ml Vanilla essence or other flavour
 
Preparation
- Macerate the dried fruits for one hour in warm water, fruit juice or rum.
 - Mix the sugar and butter until the sugar is completely dissolved.
 - Add the eggs and mix carefully to get a creamy consistency.
 - Then add the essence, flour, salt and finally the dried fruit to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
 - Place the paste in pre-buttered pan.
 - Cook for one hour in the oven preheated to 180oC -190o
