Profile

Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or a related field;

Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP;

Basic knowledge of quality control techniques;

Good verbal and written communication;

Team player with a proactive approach;

Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines;

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills;

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook);

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring food safety and hygiene practices on-site;

Support implementation and compliance with HACCP, ISO, and other food safety standards;

Participate in internal audits, inspections, and follow-up of corrective actions;

Report non-conformities and help in investigating root causes;

Support in training sessions for operational staff on food safety protocols;

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA system;

Source and compare suppliers to ensure best value for goods and services;

Process purchase requests and issue purchase orders;

Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases;

Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the raw materials warehouse and spare parts store;

Ensure timely delivery of items and follow up on outstanding orders;

Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and relevant regulations;

Assist in preparing procurement reports;
